It all began with a lost wallet.
Evan Dando, frontman of the alt-rock band Lemonheads and a Massachusetts-native, posted Saturday on Twitter: I dropped my wallet with my drivers license and two debit cards in it. i was walking from the mariner hotel to the palmer lot - referring to the Mariner Hotel in Falmouth.
About 15 minutes later, according to an account on boston.com, employee Mike Ghelfi at Walgreens located across Main Street from the hotel tweeted Dando that his wallet had been found. I’ll keep it in the office safe until you can get it.
When Dando arrived Monday to pick up his wallet he pulled out an acoustic guitar. Ghelfi s video shows Dando standing next to an Utz Potato Chips display, one foot on his guitar case, as he sang an excerpt of Confetti from the Lemonheads fifth album It s a Shame About Ray.
