When you decide to try to eat a mostly plant-based diet, the first question is: Where do I get my protein? (That s easy: First of all you probably are getting more protein than you need. Second of all: Plants have plenty of protein. Check out this list for the 20 vegetables with the most protein per serving.)
The next reaction is usually to ask: What do I eat, and what should I buy? Shopping for healthy, plant-based, dairy-free or fully vegan items can be overwhelming. That s why we created this column to recommend the items we are loving right now, and that we would buy over and over again.

The popular Haus Sampler Kit is back, making it easy to try out four tempting flavors.
I discovered Haus this year, and I ve quickly become a fan of the low alcohol by volume (ABV) spirit. It s a low-sugar drink that is stronger than wine but not as strong as most spirits.
A bottle of Haus is $35 for 750 milliliters, but you can get the Haus Sampler Kit for $40 to try out the four flavors that sound best to you. Each sampler includes four 200 milliliter bottles that can make two to three drinks each.

Just because I purposefully ignored Dry January (oops!) doesn t mean I don t love a low-proof or non-alcoholic drink every now and then. My tipple of choice is usually wine, so when I heard about Hausâthe trendy, modern aperitif maker using chardonnay grapes as the base for each of its productsâmy interest was officially piqued.
What is Haus?
Founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife duo Helena and Woody Hambrecht (who happens to be a third-generation winemaker), Haus is a Sonoma County, California-based beverage company disrupting the alcohol industry with its low-proof, all-natural approach to drinking.

Valentineâs Day is a traditionally sweet holiday, so why not celebrate with some chocolate?
This has been an especially busy season at Hilliards Chocolates, a longtime candymaker based in North Easton, as customers search for something special to give the people they love.
Founded in 1924, the confectioner offers traditional heart boxes filled with assorted chocolates, but it also offers more unusual treats.
Maegan McCarthy Dec, a fourth-generation member of the Hilliard family and jack-of-all-trades at the business, said the Craft Beer Collection makes a memorable Valentineâs gift. The collaboration with nearby Shovel Town Brewery came about because the chocolatiers noticed their consumer base was consuming a lot of craft beer.
