We had returned home from our trip of a lifetime – Alaska Caravan 2018 – in August, and decided we wanted to keep going. I logged onto the Leisure Travel Vans website to see if there was any possibility of going to the Owners Rally in September.
Our name had been on the waiting list for months with no word about any openings. Something told me I should renew my name on the list, so I did. About an hour later, I received an email from Leisure Travel Vans congratulating me on being selected to come to the 2018 Owners Rally in Winkler, Manitoba!

Someone was clearly thinking ahead at Leisure Travel Vans in Canada. At the suggestion of William Robbins, I took a look at the Leisure Travel Vans Unity FX. I had reviewed another one of their vans back in November, the Wonder RL, but this one really captured my attention too.
Based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cutaway chassis, these motorhomes are being used as daily drivers by some due to their manageable size, but they still offer all the amenities of a proper motorhome. One of the things that really impresses me is when an RV company creates a flexible space that lets you use it as you wish. That’s a huge benefit of this coach’s function.
2020 Travel Highlights from LTV Owners
At the close of each year, we ask you, our LTV family, to tell us about your favorite travel moments from the past 12 months. 2020 was a different kind of year, and your stories reflect that.
Many explored closer to home this year. Many found a new level of appreciation for their self-contained home-on-wheels; a safe way to retreat to the outdoors while being able to distance and isolate. A few even found a unique type of refuge in their LTV, sheltering during or even escaping from challenging circumstances. More than ever, we are honored to have been a part of your stories this year.
