An Inglewood man has been arrested in connection with the death of his 1-year-old daughter after her body was found in the Los Angeles River in Long Beach Monday evening, according to police.
The grandmother informed police that her son, Jayveyon Burley, who lives with her, went to Long Beach to pick up his two children from their mother and when he returned home, he arrived with only one child.
Inglewood police were called Sunday evening about a missing 1-year-old identified as Leilani Burley. Her body was found in the river below the Ocean Boulevard Bridge.
