Updated: 5:51 PM EDT May 9, 2021 A man is dead after he drove a vehicle into the front of the Leicester Police Station, rammed the doors and later pointed what appeared to be a firearm at responding officers, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.Early says the man, who appeared to be in his early 20s, crashed into the front of the station with an SUV at 6:13 a.m. Sunday and then repeatedly drove into the front doors until he gained entry into the building.Leicester police Chief Kenneth Antanavica says the front doors to the police station are made of steel and both open outward. He says the man drove his SUV up the handicap accessible ramp to the front doors and repeatedly rammed the doors until almost his entire vehicle was in the front lobby.A dispatcher with the Worcester Emergency Communication Center saw the incident happening in real time on surveillance video. She immediately called Leicester police officers to inform them about what was h
