Dining review: What you can get for takeout under $25 at Sawhorse

Sawhorse might be back to seating guests indoors at reduced capacity now, but the restaurant still offers takeout. This truth is emblazoned on a rust-orange banner stretched visibly across the restaurant’s website.
No, Sawhorse does not offer the online ordering to which many of us have become accustomed. But the number to call is clearly posted, as are their menus, which leaves you with barely any excuse not to order from Sawhorse.
I’ve waxed on about Sawhorse’s meat pie in the past. This time, ordering it for takeout, I felt inclined to change nothing. The pie is still the perfect throwback dish, flawlessly showcasing the restaurant s North Country diner style. It’s simultaneously rustic and refined.
