Cynthia Acerra, 75, was positively identified Tuesday evening by dental records, Lehigh County Coroner Eric Minnich said in a news release. Acerra was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Gabrielle Alcaro at 4:02 p.m. Saturday at the 119 Union St. fire scene, according to the coroner’s office. The cause and manner of death are pending further forensic testing, Minnich said. A 911 caller at 5:35 a.m. reported smoke coming from the home, and firefighters arrived to find fire amid “floor to ceiling hoarding conditions,” Catasauqua Fire Chief Rich Hertzog told lehighvalleylive.com at the scene Saturday morning.
