Dimapur, Nov. 25 (EMN): In connection with the upcoming general elections to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Nagaland held a meeting with enforcement departments/ agencies for assessment of election preparedness and ground situation on Friday. An official update informed that the meeting was chaired by CEO Nagaland, V Shashank Shekhar. “It was discussed that for conducting the Legislative Assembly Election 2023 freely and fairly, there is a need to thoroughly check unfair, unhealthy and illegal means like inflow of liquor, use of money power, etc by all the concerned departments,” the update stated.
