This summer promises to be different. With more folks becoming vaccinated and COVID cases on the decline, music venues and theaters are all carefully but enthusiastically reopening and offering well-thought-out shows and events. The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center has been hosting some indoor concerts with a socially distanced, masked audience, to great success. Coming up this week: On Friday, it s “The Legends Live On!” with Southern rock by Michael Allman, Texas blues/rock by Tyrone Vaughan, and blues/rock by Jeff Pitchell. The Norwich Arts Center likewise has reopened its stage doors again, with the Donald L. Oat Theater hosting D’Allegro on Friday.
