(PNA Bacolod file photo) BACOLOD CITY - Only children below five years old are exempted from travel requirements when entering this city provided they are accompanied by an adult fully-vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the Emergency Operations Center Task Force (EOC-TF) said. As of Friday, the city government continues to require those who are five years old and above to comply with the travel protocols set by Negros Occidental and this capital city. EOC-TF executive director Em Legaspi Ang encouraged parents anew to have their children vaccinated against Covid-19. "Covid-19 can affect everyone in our family, even our children. Let us all do our part and protect our loved ones so that we can move on to the new normal," she added. Dr. Chris Sorongon, medical deputy chief of EOC-TF, said on Monday that almost 5,000 minors from the said age group have already been registered online aside from those listed in both public and private schools. "If we collate all these, probably we already have 10,000 to 15,000 registered children willing to participate," Sorongon said in a radio interview.
