Inspect weighing machines at airports, Centre to states after flyers complain

According to sources, the Legal Metrology Division, which comes under the Department of Consumer Affairs, has written a letter to the Controller of Legal Metrology of all states and UTs to conduct verification and stamping of weighing machines used at airports for weighing consumers’ luggage.
