The family of ramon hill will be detailing their lawsuit in Contra Costa County in superior court tomorrow. And the father of another one of the victims says he is considering bringing suit. The attorney for the family of victim ramon hill jr. Says the history of incidents at shortterm rentals over the last several months should have made airbnb take precautions before the halloween shooting. They knew, they ignored it. Reporter according to figures compiled by the San Francisco chronicle, 42 have been shot at shortterm rentals in the u. S. 17 have died in those incidents.
