Celebrate Women’s History Month with two-time Minnesota History Award winner William D. Green at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, as he discusses the subject of his latest book, Nellie Francis.
A powerful speaker and suffragist, Francis was a pioneer for gender and racial equality, especially the needs of African-American women.
To register for this free virtual event, sign up at the Legacy Programs Facebook page @KRLSLegacy or call your local library. Kitchigami Regional Library System will use registrants email addresses to send the information to connect to the event a day or two beforehand.

Crossing Arts distributes creativity kits
The Crossing Arts Alliance in downtown Brainerd will distribute creativity kits from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 13.
Kits will be available on tables in the front of the Crossing Arts building. In case of inclement weather, the distribution will take place indoors. These kits have two art projects 3-D Rainbow and Mini Mondrian, a coloring sheet and more. Creativity Kits are free to the public. Kits are limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
