Intel has confirmed that over 50 games are resulting in issues on PCs based on its 12th-generation Core (aka Alder Lake) processors due to incompatibility with certain Digital Rights Management (DRM) software. The list of affected games includes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry Primal, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, among others.
Intel published a list of games affected by DRM issues in 12th generation Intel Core processors on devices running Windows 11 and Windows 10 this week.
Intel has published a workaround for Alder Lake CPUs on Windows 10 that were having issues with games' DRM, particularly Denuvo. The company has also added that a fix is ready and is rolling out.
