University of Hawaiʻi Maui College professor, Rosemary Vierra, was among 15 faculty members from across the state who were awarded the Regentsʻ Medal for Excellence in Teaching. Vierra is also dental hygiene program coordinator and has taught in the program since 2008.
The Regents’ Medal for Excellence in Teaching is awarded as tribute to faculty members who exhibit an extraordinary level of subject mastery and scholarship, teaching effectiveness and creativity and personal values that benefit students.
