LEESBURG Support America‘s Teachers made a stop at Leesburg High School on Wednesday to honor teachers, faculty and staff for their hard work and dedication, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s so important to recognize our teachers and staff for everything they do not just for our students but for our community,” Leesburg High School Principal Michael Randolph said. “Our teachers have just been amazing, especially during the hardship of COVID, and what a great event to have in their honor to celebrate them.”
One thing that the national SAT program has accomplished is getting the community involved to show their appreciation by donating gift items that were raffled off, food for their special lunch and monetary donations to help these events continue throughout the county.
