CAPE TOWN - A woman and three youths, aged between 15 and 17, have been charged for the murder of a Parow man.
They appeared in the Bellville Magistrates Court on Thursday in connection with Vincent Bartes murder.
Bartes was killed at his Welgelegen home last Sunday night.
The State alleged that the four accused tortured Bartes, scalding him with boiling water. He was then stabbed to death.
His attackers fled, taking his vehicle and electronic equipment.
Murdered Vincent Bartes was burnt with boiling water, stabbed and suffocated.
His dead body was found in his Welgelegen home on Sunday.
Jamie Lee Moses, 21, together with three juveniles, aged between 15 and 17, appeared in the Bellville Magistrate s Court for the killing.
Vincent Bartes, who was found dead in his Welgelegen home on Sunday, was burnt with boiling water, stabbed and suffocated, the Western Cape National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed.
On Thursday, Jamie Lee Moses, 21, together with three juveniles, aged between 15 and 17, appeared in the Bellville Magistrate s Court for the killing.
NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the State would oppose bail owing to the seriousness of the charges.
