Stocks look to open sharply higher after a rocky day on wall street the dow falling almost 1,800 points to march in march when it fell almost 13 . You can see with the time lapse those moves. The dow is now down more than 7 at this stage. S p down nearly 6 , nasdaq down 3 all on track to snap win streaks with the major average this week alone. Yesterday, we continued to watch technology microsoft, facebook, apple, amazon, alphabet all closing sharply lower. Shedding more than, get this, 269 billion in market value this is the nasdaq 100 etf versus the russell 2000 small term etf over the last couple of weeks, w we saw all of that create tiffity in those names and small caps and underperformance there. Lets say you are driving from vacaville, fairfield or vallejo, traffic is moving nicely. Not a bad drive. It continues to look pretty good in the salon of commute driving 27 minutes from vacaville to vallejo, not bad at all. Looking at highway 12 and down the cordelia junction, it continues to look good out of solano county. Moving to interstate 880 north and southbound,
The Higher Elevations seeing 45 to 50 mile an hour wind, and brisbane 42 miles an hour, oakland 37, sfo 36, Berkeley Marina at 34, san jose at 31 miles per hour. A little bit of shower activity popping up, Santa Clara Valley is a hitandmiss. Cloudy to mostly cloudy morning, coming out at highway 35 and 101, so keep that in mind. A few lightning strikes in the sierra, flying out of the picture quit. Southeast at sfo, hayward and san jose, west southwest at livermore, 50s and 60s on the temperature. East bay in the upper 50s or right at 60, san ramon, dublin and walnut creek, everybody is pretty close. Looks like we are seeing a band of light rain and blanketing most of the bay area and as we head into the overnight hours a looks like we will continue with a chance for scattered showers. We wont see too much more rain for today. Even tomorrow i think we will see you be mainly dry. As for temperatures today, and at getting a high of 64, 64 degrees in oakland. Upper 50s today in daly city is 63 degrees in napa. Keep your bra was out. We have another one heading our way by early next week. When this is all seven that we could see up to an inch and a half of rain for the Higher Elevations in the north ave. S having to rest of us will probably see less than half of an inch.
