The Huron Daily Tribune s Meet of Champs is back for 2021. The meet is scheduled for Tuesday, May 25, at Bad Axe High School. Mark Birdsall/Huron Daily Tribune
In February of 2020, Bad Axe High School track and field Coach Lee Kahler dropped by the offices of the Huron Daily Tribune to talk about the upcoming Tribune’s Meet of Champions. The newsroom had an almost entirely new staff since the previous May, and it was a new thing for most of us.
Coach Kahler was there to get us newbies up to speed about what our roles would be when the meet was scheduled to take place a few months later.
