Hyundai Motor, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics and other Korean companies are trying to capitalize on this year s FIFA World Cup as a chance to bolster brand awareness and increase sales of their devices through promotions, according to the companies, Sunday. The FIFA World Cup football tournament is one of the largest international sports events. The quadrennial event takes place in the Middle Eastern country Qatar from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18, featuring 32 national teams from around the world.
Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 16 (EMN): The Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) in collaboration with Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) conducted a month- long intensive taekwondo coaching at IG Stadium, Kohima, for the upcoming 2nd North East Olympic Games. Following the coaching, a black belt dan examination was conducted at IG Stadium where a total of 62 players successfully appeared the test on October 15. The coaching and belt examination was conducted by Kukkiwon Grand Master Lee Jeong Hee who is the Korean government’s dispatch to India for taekwondo and former national taekwondo team coach for India. The selected players will continue their coaching at the same venue in Kohima till their departure for the North East Olympic Games which is scheduled to be held from November 10 to the 16th at Shillong in Meghalaya.
