Lee Yoo-mi was recently interviewed by a South Korean periodical for her leading role in last month s Young Adult Matters where she plays a pregnant teenager named Se-jin seeking assistance in trying to acquire an abortion. The film from director
Lee Hwan is a similar tonal follow-up to
Lee Yoo-mi also played a character named Se-jin in that movie, although it is unclear if they are intended to be the same person.
According to
Lee Yoo-mi, the first time she saw the movie was during its press screening.
Lee Yoo-mi stated that she hadn t considered the situation of her character as it might appear to a spectator. After a second screening,
Se-jin runs into a teenage gang.
Jaepil and Sin-ji accidently help Se-jin and Juyeong out of a dangerous situation. However, Se-jin doesn t appreciate their help, and she shouts at them.
The four teenagers escape to a mountain where no one can find them.
Se-jin asks them to help her terminate her pregnancy, since they ruined her first attempt by saving her. Their blood freezes as graves appear in the darkness.

Ahn Hee-yeon, better known as Hani of K-pop girl group EXID, said playing a foul-mouthed runaway teenager in her debut feature, Young Adult Matters, was a brave and difficult decision.
Directed by Lee Hwan, the film tells a story about a group of runaways trying to help one of their own terminate her pregnancy. Ahn plays play the role of Ju-young, a teenager who flees with her pregnant friend Se-jin (Lee Yu-mi) and comes to see the harshness of reality through a series of unfortunate events.
Ahn explained that it was during her trip to Greece after terminating her contract with Banana Culture Entertainment when director Lee sent her a message asking her to review the script.
