Its filled with skyhigh coast redwoods, spruces and firs some 20 feet wide and 300 feet tall. Nearly as tall as the statue of liberty. Like a skyscraper. Redwoods like these are among the oldest living things on earth. As much as 3,000 years old. It takes my breath away. But take a closer look. Theres something bizarre about these ancient giants. On may 21st, 1932, exactly five years after american aviator Charles Lindbergh floyd solo across the atlantic ocean, earhart became the first woman to repeat that feat.
