Canadian politics could benefit from some fresh, clear thinking going into 2021. The federal Liberals have stolen the NDP’s tattered playbook, promising a Utopia in which government meets all of our needs with borrowed billions. The NDP itself has drifted far from the concerns of most Canadians and the Conservatives – well, who knows what they believe these days? One might have hoped that the preoccupation of political parties would be finding ways in which our country can develop and prosper to the benefit of everyone.
