KOHIMA A newly constructed building of Government Middle School (GMS) at T Khel in Kohima village was inaugurated by Thavaseelan K, principal director of School Education, on Saturday as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Thavaseelan has highlighted about the functioning of the World Bank funded project NECTAR-Lighthouse being implemented by the department of school department and how the community are participating in the school development with contributions. He has highlighted five key pillars which the department is working including foundational literacy and numeracy; infrastructure physical and digital stressed on the need to ramp up the facilities with the performance incentive grant (PIG).
