However, latest images show the snow gates at the Cairn O’Mount on the B974 between Banchory and Fettercairn remain closed.
Police Scotland would like to advise motorists that the Cairn Na Mount, B974 Banchory to Fettercairn road is closed due to heavy snowfall.
