The Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center has vaccinated its health care workers, now it is administering vaccines to veterans. To date the Lebanon VA Medical Center has administered over 6,500 vaccines, completing Phase 1A of its vaccine plan.The Lebanon VA, like many other health systems receiving vaccines, has been given a limited quantity. Staff members tell us appointments have been based on supply. Those appointments can be made in-person, over the phone or online.We spoke to one veteran who was initially hesitant but ultimately described the entire process as very simple. Veteran Bryan McCrickerd told us, They checked me in, I had to fill out some paperwork, gave me a shot and I had to wait 15-minutes. Lebanon VA is currently in Phase 1B. This covers veterans ages 75 and up and those at the greatest risk of infection.
