Following a previous postponement announced last fall, the Pennsylvania Pork Producers Council (PPPC), along with event co-host PennAg Industries Association, shared this week that the popular Keystone Pork Expo will take place in 2021, but on a new date and at a new location. This move provides additional time for ongoing COVID-19 response efforts to take shape and keeps the health and safety of all those in attendance a top priority. This change also impacts Poultry Progress Day and the MidAtlantic Manure Summit, both held in conjunction with the Keystone Pork Expo.
“As we know all too well, COVID-19 has had other plans for many events over the last year and continues to impact those in 2021, including the Expo. We regularly talk about how Pennsylvania agriculture is ‘different,’ but who knew just how different things would be for our industry only a few short weeks after last year’s Expo, as the virus quickly spread across the state and country?” said PPPC
