LEBANON JUNCTION — The good side of social media was evident during the January meeting of the Lebanon Junction City Council. But, at the same time, the bad side of social media was also on display. A big crowd packed the Lebanon Junction Community Center expecting to find out why the city officials would allow a methane plant to locate in their town. The problem is that no one knew anything about what the residents were concerned about. Helen House was the lone speaker but she said plenty to raise the ire of mayor Larry Dangerfield.
LEBANON JUNCTION – A rezoning request will come before the Lebanon Junction City Council on Dec. 6. And there may be some discussion on whether the development should or should not be rezoned. At the November meeting of the city council, James Erdbrink Jr. talked about his concerns over work being done on the 6.3-acre tract located on East Airport Road and Water Tower Road. The property owners, Ronald Shewmaker and Catalina Medeles, are seeking to rezone the property from Agricultural to R-1 Residential.
