SINGAPORE - A safe distancing ambassador working at Westgate mall, a basic care assistant at Alexandra Hospital and two pre-school teachers were among 34 new Covid-19 community cases reported on Wednesday (May 19). Three prison inmates and five schoolchildren also tested positive. Four of the new cases are currently unlinked. These include the safe distancing ambassador, who is a 45-year-old.
This brings the total number of cases to 61,730.
There are 27 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 21 are linked to previous cases.
Six of them are unlinked.
Amongst the locally transmitted cases, 15 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

Tested for Covid-19 on May 18, result came back positive on May 19

Received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Mar.21 and the second dose on Apr.11.
