On a chilly holiday evening at the corner of Divisidero and Oak Streets, a dog curiously approaches two Christmas trees leaning together. It sniffs eagerly and a hind leg looks ready to lift, but something isn’t quite right. The dog pauses, then the two trees bend down to pet it.
“This… isn’t a real tree,” says Tree #2 to the dog, then wishes the animal’s owner a great, big Merry Christmas.
