In 2019, House Bill 2375 passed the legislature and was signed into law by Gov. Kate Smith. The law requires district attorneys and hospitals to have a plan to treat sexual assault survivors or a plan to quickly transfer them to a facility that does.

Our biannual reorganization will be held on January 13th at 7 pm. Elected PCOs will now turn to elect a Chair, 1st and 2nd Vice Chairs, two State Committeemembers, as well as King County Democrats Representatives and alternates. All members present will vote for a Treasurer and Secretary. This meeting will be led by representatives from the King County Democrats. The agenda for this meeting will be released when it is provided. The call for this meeting will be sent by the King County Democrats and will include the registration link.
