Marietta Municipal Court gains support of the WCBHB | News, Sports, Jobs

Shaeleigh Sprigg, Leah Gregory The Washington County Behavioral Health Board (WCBHB) passed a motion at the April 22 Board meeting to support the Marietta Municipal Court’s proposed Mental Health docket utilizing levy funds. David Browne, Executive Director of the WCBHB, states “We see the mental health court as a perfect use of levy funds entrusted to the Board.” Mental health concerns have been on the minds of many since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. For Marietta Municipal Court Judge Janet Welch, it has been a concern in her court for many years. Judge Welch has had a special interest in mental health and linking mentally ill offenders to treatment since she began her career as a judge in 2006.

Apr 4, 2021 YOUNGSTOWN After a long battle with various health issues, the Rev. Christopher “Chris” D. Yambar, age 59, received the Ultimate Healing and went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Chris was born July 4, 1961, in Youngstown, a son of the late David and Gladys McBride Little Van Dyke Yambar. He was a 1979 graduate of Fitch High School and a proud member of the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School Class of ’79 (Salute to you, George!). He later attended Youngstown State University, majoring in art and education; obtained certification in evangelistic theology from the Evangelical Church Alliance; and subsequently obtained licensure as Reverend from Faith Temple of God.

Missouri pharmacies pour energy into preparations for COVID vaccine

By Tessa Weinberg Missouri Independent More than 23,000 initial shots of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered across Missouri so far. But before doses are even delivered, a herculean amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure its smooth arrival. Approved as a vaccinator with the state, Alps Pharmacy, an independent, locally-owned pharmacy in the Springfield area, has had to assess all possibilities as they await their first shipments to start administering doses to long-term care facilities. Leah Gregory has started most of her days reaching out to vendors she never thought she would work with in her role as director of clinical services for Alps Long Term Care Pharmacy.
