MIDDLEFIELD Eighth-graders at the Independent Day School gathered with family, teachers and administrators to celebrate their graduation June 11 at the Laurel Brook Road facility.
The program began with comments from Head of School Marijke Kehrhan. “The adventure continues,” she said, according to a press release. “Your IDS journey has come to an end, and you are about to take a giant step forward into a world of new challenges, new friends, new opportunities.
Makerspace YK is working on renovating the building which once housed the After 8 Pub and converting into a public workshop. It hopes to open in spring or summer 2021.
