Right-back Freddie Veseli looks set to stay with League Two Bury for another month with Shakers’ manager David Flitcroft keen to keep the 21-year-old at Gigg Lane. The Swiss U21 international’s second month on loan with Bury ended after yesterday’s 1-0 win at AFC Wimbledon.
“If I can take him for another month I think it will help Freddie and it will certainly help us,” Flitcroft told the
Bury Times.
“Freddie wants to do it, there’s no doubt about that. We will speak with Ipswich and Mick and try to get it nailed on for Tuesday.”
