Tournament to welcome Coast league back with bang

The Nines tournament will be hosted at Sunshine Coast Stadium on March 6 with plenty of off-field activities planned alongside the footy in a family fun day. RLSC president Glenn Peatling said plenty of “time, effort and money” was being put into making sure the event would welcome rugby league back with a “bang”. “This is all about tying to get over the COVID hangover with something that’s extremely positive and bringing everyone together,” he said. “We just want to make it a really big festival type atmosphere where there’s football going on left, right and centre and everyone is having a good time.
