Reports in Newcastle have revised Town s apparent bid for Shola Ameobi to an initial fee of £2 million with further top-ups taking the deal to £3.5 million. Yesterday, Ameobi s agent denied reports claiming the Magpies had agreed a previously claimed £4 million fee for the 26-year-old.
