Linda Bloss-Baum named Vice President, Government Relations and Public Affairs at SoundExchange May 5, 2021 Linda Bloss-Baum Headshot US performance rights organization SoundExchange has appointed Linda Bloss-Baum as Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs. Bloss-Baum will head up a “revamped” public affairs department that SoundExchange says will drive “a strategy centered on industry-shaping advocacy efforts that favor the fair treatment of music creators in the digital age”. Prior to this new appointment, Bloss-Baum spent eight years serving as a liaison between SoundExchange and artists and industry figures, most recently as a Senior Director of Artist and Industry Relations. That experience allowed Bloss-Baum to “bring together the creator and policy worlds in search of answers to pressing music business and policy issues,” says SoundExchange.
