Atheka Le Souef is just one of the many small business owners desperate for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout to happen as quickly as possible.
Before the pandemic caused the international borders to shut, her family-owned opal store in Melbourne s CBD was largely frequented by overseas tourists hunting for a piece of Australia s national gemstone. The slow rollout of the vaccine is going to really, really negatively impact us here, Ms Le Souef said.
