GENESEO â The number of active COVID-19 cases decreased significantly since Friday in the GLOW region.
A total of 319 cases were reported on Tuesday. That number marks a decrease of 83, compared to the 402 cases reported Friday.
A total of 233 recoveries were reported, compared to 152 new cases. But the number of cases continued to rise at SUNY Geneseo.
No coronavirus-related fatalities were reported by county health officials, though New York State data indicates one new death each in Genesee and Orleans counties.

Genesee County on Tuesday reported 39 new cases of COVID-19, which covers the Presidentsâ Day holiday weekend, for a total of 4,070 cases since the pandemic arrived in the region in March.
