A plane bound for Minneapolis had to make an emergency landing at MBS International Airport in Freeland after a sensor indicating smoke in the cabin went off.

VARANASI: The first consignment of 1.58 lakh doses of Covid vaccine reached LBS International airport by Vistara UK-621 flight at 11.30am on Wednesday.
The vaccine boxes were immediately offloaded and taken to cargo terminal under the supervision of airport director Flt. Lt. Akashdeep and later handed over to the nodal medical officer.
State officers, including joint director, Dr Anshu Singh (division Nodal officer), Dr Sher Mohammad, (Nodal officer for Corona vaccine), SP protocol Anurag, SDM Pindra Jai Prakash were present at the airport.
