THE Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. and e-commerce platform Lazada have teamed up to help local businesses through digitalization.
Under the partnership, Lazada will provide a learning program on online selling for chamber members, including product photography, marketing strategies, and live-streaming, among others.
The Davao City chamber, in a statement, said the initial rollout will cover 100 members and will be expanded later to Davao-based designers and businesses within the Davao Region.
“Lazada has already opened its platform not just to ready-to-eat meals, but even to fresh produce, or hotel and restaurant promos. And the long-term goal is to eventually go global with Lazada Global,” said DCCCII President Malou G. Monteverde.
