Appeasement did not work for Chamberlain, who offered appeasement to Hitler by sacrificing Czechoslovakia. Who will we sacrifice? Our grandparents? Our immune-compromised loved ones?
Churchill offered blood, toil, tears and sweat to defeat evil, just like our health care workers. Teachers toil to keep students safe and then cry in frustration as the students need to isolate, due to hockey. We’re all in this fight together, so we need coordinated tactics.
