because i think, you know, it was an uphill battle. i think everyone knew that that supreme court with this conservative majority will probably likely strike the planned down. they were quickly out of the box with this new proposal that they could maybe try to do something under different federal law to the one they tried to use. this one is called the higher education act. but the trouble with this one is that it s gonna take a lot longer to push it out. it s gonna have to be a full, kind of, wanting some comment and review what they do before it goes into effect, which is one of the reasons they didn t do it before. and president biden has voiced, filled temporary measures that would relieve, when people start to pay those student loans which is gonna happen next couple of months after it was put on hold during that pandemic. we are definitely trying, and they are ready to announce this. but it s gonna take a while. and it s gonna be probably legal challenges to that too. nbc s law
