BEDFORD The gym wasn t filled to the rafters and the graduates were spaced farther apart, but after a year of uncertainty marked by hybrid schedules, separate lunch areas and up and down staircases oh, and masks, lots of masks the Bedford North Lawrence High School Class of 2021 assembled one final time.
BNL commencement took place Friday night in the BNL Fieldhouse with 319 students receiving diplomas.
Student speakers were co-valedictorians Aden Pemberton and Evan Waggoner and salutatorian Evan Voris. They thanked their parents, teachers and administrators for their love and support.
Aden Pemberton, who was also senior class president, said the four years flew by as he recalled what it felt like to be at freshman orientation to this year of being reminded by teachers to put masks on.

You get opinions from both sides, both sides are logical, both sides passionate about and it deals with the community. I enjoyed working with you all, and sometimes we disagreed and agreed to disagree. I just hope that you did not feel there was any disrespect for your position.
