Someone told him a fourth person, a man, had gone back in, so he entered the home, searched the first floor, and while the deputy checked the basement, he headed to the stairs. I went up onto the stairs of the second floor, but it was just too hot and too smoky and i wasnt able to go any further. We were yelling and trying to get someone to come to us if they were able, but unfortunately we didnt get any response and were driven back by the heavy smoke and the fire.
