neil: so, john, where do we go from here? we know the president is going to find this a great miscarriage of justice, all of these counts. it is out there, it is galvanizing republicans are rallying around, his poll numbers have shot up, contributions to his campaign, i believe, since all of us came to light, is over $8 million now, so it is politically a win for him. in an environment, the democrats could boomerang on him. does this after all you ve heard today measure up to something that could affect a general election? is it up to the point, the gravitas of that, in the last 30 seconds, that you think yes or no? one is i think it helps trump s story, going back to the russia hoax, going back to the two failed impeachments, going to the special counsel investigation, he is suffering politicized justice that his liberal opponents have turned the law enforcement system
he also has been very good about surrounding himself with attorneys who then have become witnesses in these cases. michael cohen, evan corcoran are the two attorneys that have worked for donald trump that we re talking about. who are major witnesses, both in new york and in this federal investigation around classified records. but when you step back and you watch what s happening, at least in federal court in d. c in the classified documents case, the january 6th investigation that shield of the court system has has fallen. the courts are moving quickly to respond to investigators and whether or not there s a charge there whether one would arise against him or others in january 6th or the mar a lago case at very least there. are going to be able to get answers, and that s the thing that not none of the other investigations have been able to get. and this seems to me this all of it. it s a big test for the judicial system for the for the law enforcement system in this country to deal wi
