The ballot is packed with an array of candidates for county, municipal, school district and district judge offices for Tuesday’s primary election. Meet candidates for Harrisburg city council, judge seats at special event Updated May 05, 2021; Harrisburg residents are invited to meet candidates for city council and magisterial district judge seats this Saturday in an outdoor event hosted by CATCH. The event is the second in a series by the group, Concerned About The Children of Harrisburg. It is set for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday May 8 in a parking lot at 100 N. Cameron Street in Harrisburg. Residents are asked to bring their own lawn chairs to hear directly from candidates and ask questions. Floyd Stokes will serve as moderator. “Our intent is to engage voters more in the local election process as those are the elections that impact us more,” said Kia Hansard, one of the founders of CATCH.
