A teenage boy who was killed in a dirt bike crash has been remembered as a âlovable larrikinâ who had a âbright future ahead of himâ.

Mr Gordonâs former coach and family friend Shannon Wright said the tragedy had hit the community hard, with the close-knit group grieving the loss of the talented rider.
âHe was a lovable larrikin, always a laugh, always laughing at the club, thereâs not a bad bone in his body,â Mr Wright said.

A 16-year-old boy has died in a dirt bike race in Brisbane s north.
Police said the boy was taking part in a race at the Queensland Dirt Bike Racing Championships at Mick Doohan Raceway when his vehicle struck a fence about 1.45pm afternoon.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the collision.

The teenager was taking part in the Queensland Dirt Bike Racing Championships at Mick Doohan Raceway in Banyo, Brisbane, on Monday when he rammed into a fence at speed at about 1.45pm.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Police believe his tragic death may have been caught on camera and appealed to anyone with footage to come forward.
