It’s hard to believe we are approaching the end of July. Where did the month go? Although the weather was not your usual July conditions most everyone agrees it’s just nice to be here at Ocean Point. Many thanks to Ocean Pointer Dana Wilson,.

Weston Forest & Trail volunteers and their families put the finishing touches on the Marian Case Nature Classroom on March 27, officially Weston s first outdoor classroom.
Located less than a quarter mile from three elementary schools, the Scout lodge, Weston Library and Weston Community Center, the classroom is for the use of all who wish to learn from nature and in nature.
Many Weston residents and friends were involved in the making of this experience. Weston Forest & Trail Association led the approval process for the location, which the Select Board approved in November 2020.
After final soil clearance, Weston Landscape donated, delivered and spread enough wood chips to cover a 50-foot diameter circle. The volunteer day brought out around 15 volunteers including Select Board member Laurie Bent and four members of the Weston Middle School s community service club.
