For a $20 donation, participants can submit photos of their pets to have their portraits hand-drawn by shelter staff and volunteers. All of the proceeds will benefit Maui Humane Society animals. Last year’s event raised more than $2,000 for the organization and resulted in some excellent and not-so-excellent renditions of people’s pets, the shelter said.
